Sitting on a committee is one of the ways you can be involved in the running of the co-op. Every member is expected to volunteer four hours a month. One of the main reasons for participation is to help keep the costs down. Advantages to participation are: getting to know your neighbours, learning to do something you didn’t know how to do and helping others that need assistance.
